You may have noticed that I posted reviews daily up until April 25th (last Friday) and then stopped. The plan was always to return to a slower posting rate after I wrapped up the launch of SHIELD and the May releases mentioned in the sticky post from January 11.
My new goal is to publish about one review per week until I build up a large enough archive to cushion the ups and downs of life—at which point I can increase the cadence again.
Right now I have several reviews written and in the “add-images-and-post” stage. Although the site might make it look as if I was busy in April, real life kept me away for most of the month. Now that we’re entering May, I’m ready to get back on track. This week’s post is only a status update, but I aim to have at least one—if not more—reviews in the queue by next Friday. Friday will once again be my regular review-posting day, just as it was before I ramped up the schedule.
Will I speed things up again? Probably. I plan to adjust the rate based on the depth of my queue so the site never looks abandoned when you visit. For now, consider this a quick note to share my intentions.
See you in the weeks to come.
