This comic book review is of The Doctor Strange tale from Strange Tales #119,  In this tale he goes beyond the Purple veil, and risks his own life to save the lives of two human’s whom only got in danger by daring to rob him.   But can Doctor Strange defeat what he finds, and is it worth his time to save two petty criminals?

Story

In this tale, we again find the doctor going to the aid of humans in need, even ones whom found themselves in such straits by their own actions. This allows us to see Doctor Strange’s integrity, and lets him develop as well. Even he wonders about his actions even as he lives up to his oath.

Artwork

The artwork for this issue was adequate and offered us a look at yet another dimension in doctor strange’s universe.  The purple dimension  being quite different then the ones we have seen so far, showing just how unique each world may be.

Originality and Continuity

How often are our hero’s robbed, and then go after and save the criminals?  I can’t think of having seen this, making this tale one that is quite original, and telling of our hero.

Characters and Development

While we have seen signs of it already; This time we can truly say we now know  just how far Doctor Strange will go for his oath and just how true it is for anyone.
