Strange tales #124:The lady from nowhere

Review By:

In this mystic Dr. strange tale, we have a special guest appearance I character not only from history but was also been seen in a previous Marvel comic. In Dr. strange tales so far we have seen him go to Great Plains to help those in need. But this is the first time we have seen him travel through time self to the distant past to help free a trapped soul of the present. The traveling to the past for the mystic Dr. strange is not without risk. For if he stays there too long he’ll be trapped in time forever

I found the art of Steve Ditko could be top-notch and this Dr. strange story. The shrouded mystery woman in the beginning, to the far past Steve Ditko put his best work forward. This issue he not just maintained but honored the look he established for Dr. strange’s stories

Originality and continuity

Dr. strange is not the first travel to Cleopatra’s time, and more over and time travel stories it can always be hard to tell where they fit into continuity with each other. Does this happen before or after Ironman’s adventure? That I cannot say. I can say, is I do not feel that either story nullifies the other even if there is no clear way they fit together.

This story had the same suspenseful feel as many of the Dr. strange Trois I have come to enjoy. In the end coming down was own wit and intelligence not his might to save the day. Is easy to see how Dr. strange proved to be a popular yet different choice for a comic book favorite. He is quite unlike the other Marvel heroes, and that is a plus the stories.
