That is right, you read the cover right, likely after looking at the stunning image of Captain America standing there, and his shield deflecting fireballs from the human Torch. The cover indeed does say, im the big White and Yellow letters just what you think it did. “From out of the Golden Age of Comics into the Marvel Age, Captain America Returns To Challenge The Human Torch!”
It is the kind of cover, that would make anyone who had an inkling of an idea of the old great hero want to thumb though the comic magazine and see just what happens. So As such, todays comic review is for The story titled “Captain America*”
I do not feel that this story needs any further summery then what the cover and what I already said offers, that in this issue we get to see two legendary characters, together at last*.
*To understand the asteric, read the issue (more…)

The Coming Of The Plantman!
Today’s Comic book review is of the story “The Coming Of The Plantman!” that was published in Strange Tales #113. This story featuring the human torch is in some ways a milestone for the character and the series. Because it is with this issue, and story that he gain’s his first supporting character other than the Fantastic Four. In this issue we are introduced to Doris Evans, his current girlfriend, and flame of the human torch.
To summarize the story, a mad gardener invents a device that increases the IQ of plants but also make them his slave, using the device he both frames his former employer whom happens to be Doris’s father, and then heads down a path to conquer the city, then the universe! (more…)

The Living Bomb!
Today, i sat down to review the human torch story from Strange Tales #112, if you are looking for the review of the Doctor Strange story for this issue, i regret to inform you that for Strange Tales #112 and #113 the doctor, and his stories where nonexistent.
But as for the human torch, can the story of the Human Torch Faces The Threat Of “the Living Bomb!” end up being a great tale, or will the ell’s first issue be a slippery slope.

Fighting To The Death With The Asbestos Man!
This is a comic book review of the Human Torches story in Strange Tales #111, titled “Fighting To The Death With The Asbestos Man!“, but today I also reviewed the Dr. Strange story, and you can find that review by clicking here.

Upon failing to make the appropriate network connection’s he decides his path into the criminal underworld is by defeating the human torch, so he makes himself the one nemesis that is immune to everything the torch is, Asbestos Man!

The Human Torch Vs. The Wizard And Paste-Pot Pete!

Human Torch On The Trail Of The Amazing Spider-Man!
Today I sit down to review one of the stories that appeared in Strange Tales Annual #2, this tale was the Human Torches feature for that extra long issue, and it too is longer then what he is normally given. But perhaps of just as much importance is the Human Torches guest star, Spider-Man!
This 18 page story features the two hero’s in a Team up & match up like none other. as first in a classic hero fashion they face off against each other before teaming up to track down the real criminal, a guy known as the Fox.

The Sorcerer and Pandora's Box
Today I review the human torches story in Strange Tales #109, titled. “The Sorcerer and Pandora’s Box”. I think the title alone, combined with the cover can easily give you a good idea of what this comic book’s story is all about. but lets give just one more quote to build upon that.
In this world of scientific marvels, the power of black magic and sorcery is largely scorned and ridiculed! But one day The Human Torch makes the spine-chilling discovery that sorcery is far from an old wives’ tale when he encounters… the sorcerer and Pandora’s box

The Human Torch is destaned to become the still-life victim of The Painter of A Thousand Perils!
The Human Torches stories in Strange Tales have been on a high note since my bad review of Strange Tales #105, But can Strange Tales #108 continue the trend, or is this one going to be the next one to burn out.
It is hard for me to enter high hopes for these stories even with the last few being good, i have yet to cover from my viewpoint on the early issues. But as you will soon read, The Human Torch story here was not a let down.
